Easy Meatloaf

This classic meatloaf recipe is simple, flavorful, and comforting. Perfect for family dinners, it’s tender inside with a tangy glaze on top.

Ingredients
  

  • lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup ketchup plus extra for topping
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until just combined — do not overmix.
  4. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  5. Spread extra ketchup on top.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Vivette's Tip
For a deeper flavor, try adding a tablespoon of barbecue sauce or brown sugar to the ketchup topping. Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies for a full meal.
