Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken and Rice

Delicious teriyaki-glazed chicken cooked in the slow cooker alongside rice for a no-fuss family dinner. Just set it and forget it, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds at the finish — perfect for busy evenings and calm meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger optional
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water to thicken sauce

Method
 

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in crock pot.
  2. Add chicken and coat evenly.
  3. Cook on low 4–5 hours or until tender.
  4. Remove chicken, shred, and mix cornstarch slurry into sauce to thicken.
  5. Serve over rice, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds.
